wasn't you suppose to read a book about sovngarde to understand that it doesn't excist
if so go to the 'tavern' next to the big lake and i think that upstairs there's a guy selling a book about sovngarde, and bring the book back

Samiant: If you follow the main Bloodmoon Quest, you will eventually be led to Castle Karstaag.
If you've been given that quest and can't remember how to actually enter the castle
