It's this bit under Thief2 Thief Fan Missions FAQ .

I did it, but it didn't help.
I notice some of the T2 missions I could play before are also corrupt now.
NOW I'm really scared :eek: :nono: :wot:

I guess my T2 folder is corrupt in some way.
I emptied the folder and tried to install T2 again.
It doesn't work: The installment ends at 64 % and then I need to put in Disc two, but the programs doesn't except it. What must I do now?

I had something like that happen to me once, if I'm remembering correctly. I had to go into Regedit (potentially dangerous!!) and fix the Registry by deleting all the entries in there that mentioned Thief in some way. Something happened to my installation and it would hang like that during the re-installation process.

That's going to be difficult if you have to go that route. I would only recommend it as a last resort, and it could potentially kill your entire Windows operating system (worst case scenario). Usually, if you're careful, the only thing you can do is make Thief un-runnable, which, that's where you're at now, so you can't mess Thief up anymore than it already is.

It worked for me.

Before messing with the registry try (http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=131106&p=1965795&viewfull=1#post1965795) Tafferpatcher. Several people have reported that it's solved their installation problems.

I also got a remark of a MOTION conflict from Cardia1 ....:thumb:
