Well, recently I have gotten Morrowind Game of the Year edition for my PC, and as a person who has only played the X-Box version, naturally the first thing I want to do is download some Mods. I have found a couple I want to download, like the Playable Dremora Race, and I have downloaded that one. But now, I don't quite know how make the mod...Work...While I play. If somebody could please give me a bit of instructions on how to make mods funtion and If I downloaded it wrong, download properly, I would be greatly appreciative.

The readme included with the mod usually describes how the mod should be installed, but if that is incomplete or no readme is provided here is what you do:
Download (or move) the mod to the Data Files folder in your Morrowind directory. If the creator of the mod packed it properly, after you unzip the file most of the contents of the mod may be placed in the appropriate folder. But in case it was not, here is where things go. If the mod consists of only an .esp without any accompanying art/sound files it is easy–just place the .esp in the Data Files folder. If there are additional files they are likely organized in folders such as ‘Icons’, ‘Meshes’ and ‘Textures’.
The plugin (*.esp or sometimes *.esm) is placed in the Data Files folder.
Copy the contents of the ‘Icons’ folder provided by the mod (.dds) into the Icons folder of the Data Files folder in your Morrowind directory.
Repeat that process for the contents of the ‘Meshes’ folder (.nif), ‘Textures’ folder (.dds) and any other content (these are less likely to be included: Book Art, Fonts, Music, Sound, Splash and Video) into the appropriate folder of the Data Files folder in your Morrowind directory. New animations (.kf) go into the Meshes folder.
Once you have accomplished this you have to indicate that you want the mod to load with the game. Select it by going to ‘Data Files’ on the initial Morrowind load screen and put a check in the box in front of the mod’s name.
It is always a wise precaution to have a backup of your most recent saved game before you try a new mod. Some can be problematic to remove from your game even with the use of a third-party utility such as (

Gurg....That sounds confusing, but I'll give it a shot. So you say that most people will make it all go to the right files and folders. I guess I'll just read it as I go along. Thanks for the advice, I'm really thankful. I'm going to go and download some Mods now. And make a backup. Thanks again :)
