Go somewhere convenant(temple etc) go into the console and type PlaceAtPC "Tholer Saryoni" 1,1,1 and press enter, it is not case sensative or anything. Hopefully you will not need to set his deathcounter to 0 but if anyone tells you that he is dead tell my and I will get the script to remove it.
But he will just be there, reset, he won't even know you killed him. There are alternative scripts but those normally cause troubles.

Of course, the way to avoid such problems is to not go around indiscriminately killing NPCs. Especially if they're part of some major faction, or obviously unique (like Yagrum). I find to hard to have much sympathy for people who come along saying stuff like "help I murdered half the mages guild and now I can't do quest x".

hmm yeah . . . there is only about 40 or so characters you shouldnt kil if you want to do the main quest the official way. Out of hundreds and hundreds of NPC's that is not a lot to ask, although if you havent just gone on a mad killing spree in an area with lots of NPC's then your missing out :ebil: (note - this should be done and then NOT saved unless you wish to scew up quests, etc)

1: all over red mountain, plus a few outposts elsewhere
2: as I recall he marks the locations on your map
3: you can't directly kill Dagoth Ur. Pummel the heart.

I don't recall actually directly killing the guy... just smashing the heart and then legging it over the bridge, and he automatically dies at some point as Akhulan falls apart.

Slight alteration. unless you can do 1000 damage in one hit.
You are meant to kill him after smashing the heart but you can just let him drop into the lava, I actaully got him to fall in the lava before smashing the heart but he teleports next to you at certain points.
