I thought I posted this yesterday but it seems to have evaporated into thin air...
I just wanted to say Thank You to the people of this forum. Yesterday, after an 18 hour plight of trying to get SS2 to play on my Viata Operated, Core 2 Duo laptop; I was finally able to get it running ... cutscenes and all. A Brown U. friend of mine introduced me to it right after it came out and I basically watched him play through on a computer he had built for me. I always wanted to play it myself but had compatibility issues with subsequent computers.
It looks much different on this computer and the load time between saves [formerly during which an entire thanksgiving dinner could be prepared] are incredibly fast.

Yes, but he's pointing out that in an internet full of assholes, the assholes here are generally very helpful. That's something the entire community of assholes can be proud of, and therefore, I think we should leave it in Commchat.

Haven't been to a TTLG meet, have you? I thought about going to one, but seeing Fett still sitting on that inflatable doughnut 2 years later made me change my mind pretty quick like.
And they don't even provide snacks for after. :mad:
