Guys,

I have the french version and want the english version.... what to do ?
Can someone please upload the files ie. the files which contain the english subtitles.
There is a folder named English here....the place where u have installed.

Deus Ex - Invisible War\Content\DX2\AquiredDataText

Can some1 please upload the english texts please.

I am the ultimate fan of Dues Ex 1 and wanted to try-out DX2. But my Bad luck that i got the french version.....(It however has ENGLISH AUDIO :D )

The files that you gave me, helped me to now read contents of datacubes,books,....etc. in english............(before it was in french)

Meanwhile i checked the contents of other folders and found that there were still some folders like Textures,etc...... having folders named "ENGLISH" which i renamed them to "french" and deleted the old french folders... This now changes all the MENU's and NAMES OF WORLD OBJECTS into ENglish.....,,,,etc,etc,etc....:cool: :cool: :cool:


I managed to convert all the french notes to English....

But However only one thing remains unchanged and that is the SUBTITLES which are in French. SO whenever i have a conversation with a character like billie,etc.etc..... The subtitles appear in French....... I have found no file or folder which makes me convert those subtitles into English........

So if you can help me........
I need the list of all files belonging to Deus Ex 2- Invisible War (ONLY FILE NAMES)
PLEASE!!!!!!!!
This will help me see which files are missing from my game.

PS- The game is AWESOME in terms of Graphics as compared to DX-1

I already have these files. But they still dont help. Some how the game reads the french contents eventhough i have deleted the french folders. Strange:confused: :confused: :confused:

If you can send me all the filenames in the deus ex 2 invisible war forlder it would be much appreciated.

Hey Jeshibu,

THanks for your help. I got all the necessary files now required to convert the french to english verion of the games from a friend of mine. There was a patch necessary to be downloaded called Deus Ex- Multilanguage.exe which converted french/english/german/spanish into each other.

Hey,

I was passing by and just saw this post.. curiously im going through the same problem, my version of Deus Ex 2 is in spanish.. i mean, the sound is English but the subtitles still in spanish (even doing the substitutions previously said in this post).

daedelus or anyone could PLEASE send me a URL of a patch that fixes this? i've searched this patch "Deus Ex- Multilanguage.exe " but didn't find anything.. I would be very grateful about any help!
