All our sites have had favicons for donkey's years. Your cache must have been full or something.

Well, when I first registered and put the link in my quick start,I had an icon, but a different one,not as nice as this one though(what a suck up:eww: ),and then one day it was replaced with the IE icon.I was going to ask but I just said F*#k it.It weren't my cache as I use CCleaner upon occasion.I was however experimenting with different anti virus software so that may have been it (avoid Kaspersky,it fucks with the games,SS2 hasn't run since I installed it,and even after the uninstall it didn't:erg: I may start a thread on that)

Sometimes if I have difficulty loading a page its icon gets replaced by the IE or MSN ones, for whatever reason. It could have been something like that.

Mine come and go without warning at the most inopportune times (a bit like my forum access ho ho) - why does this happen and is there any way of getting them to stay there? I kinda like having lots of unique icons in my Favourites list rather than the bog-standard IE logo.

I've noticed that sometimes if I have more than one bookmark from the same site, only the "first" one has the favicon and the others have the default thing.

Well I think I found a solution :D
I don't know why I didn't think of searching the internet for the answer... well, actually I do, it's cos I didn't know they were called favicons. Anyway, (
http://www.worldstart.com/tips/tips.php/1284) this is it.
One wonders why the people who make these browsers don't implement some sort of permanent solution to the problem.

My Opera likes the TTLG icon so much that it likes to apply it to my other bookmarks, too.
It's been using it for my bookmarks to the thiefmissions.com forums and the LPG (also hosted on thiefmissions.com) for ages, yet thiefmissions has no favicon as far as I can see.
