dos anyone know if the thief universe and the system shock universe are the same just different time lines or later in time?
are there any nod to thief in system shock games/vice versa in thief
i know thief 4 was suppose to be set in the future and i always wondered if they were connected to system shock series
i never played a system shock game,only demos years ago,hence i would ask someone who is seasoned in both games to see if they know

Game designers work on different games & take inspiration from other games, even subconsciously or inadvertently, so you'll always see elements that remind you of other games in any game, sometimes it's deliberate as an Easter egg or a salute to other games sometimes it's not
It's like TV series, one show has an idea, shortly after several other shows have a similar idea
