I am running a 965, 125w at 4.3ghz @ 1.5v does anyone think that my voltage is too high?
MY temps are still in the blue when I look at temperature readings in bios

So this is a overclocking question concerning a AMD Phenom II X4 965 (Black Edition Deneb)
3.4GHz 4 x 512KB L2 Cache 6MB L3 Cache Socket AM3 125W Quad-Core Processor (
http://products.amd.com/en-us/DesktopCPUDetail.aspx?detailId=617&id=617&id=591) link
Voltage
0.825-1.40V - factory, overclocked to
1.5V.
That's a quite a large overclock to
4.3ghz. Any bluescreening/restarts or stable? You've not stated temps at factory idle/load or overclock idle/load. Standard heatsink/cooler or heatsink/copper?
CPU/RAM overclocking questions are rare here. ;)

Thats a monster O/C you have there, 4.0ghz and 1.5v is the norm for this chip(but DONT! go over 1.5v). Do keep an eye on the temps though, that Phenom has a MaxT of 65c and voltage of 1.425. So if I were you I would back it of a little to 4ghz and see if you can drop the voltage a tad goin down in 0.05 increments eg 1.495, 1.490, 1.485 etc untill you find the voltage that will keep the machine from crashing, then increasing by 0.05 and run some tests etc..

I put this machine together a week ago So I dont know if the thermal paste has even done its thing yet
At stock levels it is 85F ...Is that high or low?
at factory level under full load it doesn't go over 100F
I have muskin ddr3 running at 1600 (7-7-7-20-)@1.855v
My heat sink is a v10 cooler master (and it has T.E.C.)(peltier cooler)
I am running Prime95 now on it
So from your experience would i run into problems in the future??? it seems stable now.
WHat happens if I go over 1.5v???
