The armour does affect how bad the head size looks a lot more than it should. I've been fine with the head size since the DB hood became my main headgear, though.

I've noticed that when you turn the head from side to side, it looks as though the FOV is changing. Do a profile from one side, and the face looks normal. Do it from the other side, and everything seems exaggerated. Odd.

I believe the face generator may be lopsided. On one of my attempts, I was trying to get the eyes to be the right size and bring them a bit closer together, however one eye became noticeably smaller than the other....I think the nose model chopped part of it off. wierd.

i saw a great post on the official tes obv forums that described, in detail, the order you had to do things in to get the most out of the face generator. it definitely wasn't going down the list in descending order.
at the rate that things like that slide off the first few pages, it may well be buried by now. if i find it, tho, i'll post it on this thread.

hmm, gonna bookmark that. I probably will cut and paste things from it into notepad. since I won't be able to remember any of it offhand. thx.

My friend has taken a lot of Poser classes and she's able to make a nearly perfect face. But it takes her hours.
My Breton is splotchy and imperfect, which leaves me more time for actually playing the game. Screw it. She doesn't need a Dutch surname like Van Ariel either, a concept entirely foreign to my "actual nerd" friends. :p
There is a mod for changing appearance after you've started, I assume you have that?

How do you turn the face?
There's a mod that adds numbers to the sliders for face layout. I don't have the link offhand, I'll see if I can find it.
Here it is: (
