Why?
For the reason I wanted a mod in (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=126760) this thread.
Once again, why did they put this character in the game? That, to me, was a very mean and poor design decision, especially if it's more offensive than the entire rest of the game put together. And I shouldn't have to resort to a mod to bypass it.
I also hated the way he dies, just a simple "ugh" and he falls over. No, that's not the way it should end. I should be allowed to decapitate him, gut him 500 times in his body, stomp and crush his organs to mush, etc. Oblivion is an M-rated game after all.
As a result of this, Oblivion is the first and only video game that truly offends me. I really hoped this would never happen, but it did. Fuck you Bethesda, why?
I'm selling the game to one of my friends for $15, because it's still in very good condition. I'll keep Morrowind though, because they didn't make the same mistake in that game as they did in Oblivion, and it's really the better game overall. I'll just pretend Oblivion doesn't exist...

I'm going to send a letter to Bethesda Softworks and have them apologize for this. They should, but if they don't, then I'll boycott all their products. So don't try to pull any more tricks on me. I know that's just you.

This is the most ridiculous thread I've read in a long time.
Of all the flaws in Oblivion that you could hate it for, you choose to rant because a character insults you at the start?
You mention that it's an M-rated game, so why did you buy it since you're clearly not mature enough to play it if you want everything to be cheerful and rosy.
Oblivion is already very excessively cheerful. Woe betide you ever play something like Gothic, where the first character you meet beats you up.
But sure, complain to Bethesda, I'm sure it'll give them a good laugh.

I would also like to make a complain to Bethesda for the fact that they included the color green in the game when I have a feeling of complete and utter fear and shame upon laying eyes on it. They should have thought about all the people like me before releasing this vile spawn of virtual entertainment.

Just out of curiosity, since I don't know what he says to each race and gender, what exactly did he say to you that you found so offensive?
I mean I played with an Imperial and Breton male and a Dark Elf female and he hasn't really called me names or anything just told me I would die and such. Or is that it? Him being mean? Uhm... ok...

Well if I remember correctly, if you're an Argonian he taunts you for never being able to swim again, and if you're a Dark Elf male, he says he's going to steal your girlfriend. So yes, he is mean.
P.S. I just got rid of the game. Gave it to one of my friends for $15. So glad it's off my chest now...
