Everytime I play morrowind, it runs fine for a little while then my screen just turns black. I hear the sound and my monitor and PC are still on. Any ideas?
Also, I just installed direct x 9.0c
my computer is pretty crappy
Pentium 3 700mhz
ATI Radeon 9200
256mb of RAM

I had a somewhat similiar problem. It was caused by overheating in the graphics card (in some of the components that are not under the card's own fan). I switched to a new, cooler case and now things work.
