I'm sure this can all be attributed to the general decline of common courtesy and civility.

I suppose I'm going off track a bit there. I agree that many drivers are far too aggressive, particularly BMW drivers. However, in some cases people can just end up in the wrong place and get into trouble trying to get out on the right exit or get in the right lane.
There are a plenty of people who are considerate, and let you out of junctions in heavy traffic or give you space to get on the motorway for example. Could be a lot worse - I'm surprised that there aren't more accidents really. The improving quality of cars has a bit of an effect, as brakes are better and cars are generally more stable, even the small ones.

But the stupid things pedestrians do is just as bad, like stepping off the curb IMMEDIATELY IN FRONT OF ME without looking.
I'm generally for cycling, but cyclists can do stupid things as well- the ones in Cardiff seem to think traffic lights don't apply to them, even when pedestrians are crossing, and I've also nearly been hit by a cyclist who was cycling on a pavement 2ft away from a cycle lane. He had been headed straight for it but swerved onto the pedestrian part for some unknown reason.

I am full of the glory of the many.
jk, using turn signals is such an automatic reflex for me now I couldnt stop if you told me to. I hate fuckers who dont.

Cyclists round here on one road seem to prefer slowing down traffic and forcing people to overtake in dense traffic when there is a very expensive cycle path for them to use about a foot to their left. It's not exactly hard to find...

What's just as bad is when people signal AS they make the turn or lane change. I don't know if it's particularly bad out where I live (retired seniors dominate the demographic), but I've gotten really good at anticipating when people are about to cut me off without warning.
Signalling AS YOU TURN doesn't fucking help, dipshits.

Is that due to the brain-chips they all have implanted at the showroom or because they are all Blacks and Jews?

As a new driver who doesn't even have his license yet (not for failing but because I just haven't had time to take the test) I can't claim to be a particularly good driver, but I am AWARE of the fact that I'm not a particularly good driver and so drive cautiously. And being fresh out of driving school I actually DO largely do the things I'm supposed to - when changing lanes I always signal, and then while I'm supposed to check my mirrors and then shoulder check I've developed the bad habit of going straight to shoulder check, which is still better then the opposite. But yeah, signaling good - I may be a kid driver but that doesn't mean people don't have to signla when they're trying to come into my lane 3 inches in front of me.
