There's also the bunch of people who senslessly signal when they're entering a traffic circle (although anybody can clearly see that) but don't when they're leaving it.

Not indicating is one of the things that bugs me most when driving, especially on roundabouts. We're not psychic, we need to know where the fuck you're going!
Talking of roundabouts there are a couple of large roundabouts here in the city that people think they can take the right hand exit from the left hand lane and promptly cutting up everyone who's doing it properly.
fs, there should be a harder driving test.
I'm with David on this, where I work there is a roundabout just outside which has 2 lanes for about 10 meters at it and single lane for the 200 meter drive up. Most people go left at it onto a dual caridgeway, however the BMW drivers (and it is always BMW drivers, I have never seen anyone else do it) will overtake the queue go in the right hand lane and then turn left into the second lane. I find that if I know someone is going to do it, I go straight over the roundabout rather than left, usually to the accompanyment of the BMW drivers horn as god forbid them they were not able to do what they wanted to do....
Unfortunately I am one of these drivers that will stick to the speed limits, signal when I am supposed to and does not tailgate as I have seen far too many crash victims to be stupid enough to think that I am invincible and that everyone else knows what move I am going to do next.

Oh yeah. This is so. freaking. annoying. By the way, is it a local thing or is it the same anywhere else in the world that it's taxi drivers who fail to use the turn signals most frequently? Probably saving the wear on bulbs... :nono:

I was going to make a thread like this some months ago but...
Anyway - wft is wrong with people? There is a roundabout near home where only people going to my housing estate come off at one exit. And yet indicate as I do some asshat always ignores it and almost hits me even though I am clearly indicating that I am leaving at that exit. And then THEY get angry with ME! I think people are too used to not using and not paying a ttention to indicators. Except in London. London drivers ftw.

The obsession with roundabouts is partly the problem there. A well constructed intersection is far more sensible because roundabouts still produce tailbacks. Lights at least keep things reasonably controlled.

Nope. It's easy-peasy. Yield to cars on the roundabout, NO indicators when entering, ALWAYS indicate when exiting and try not to switch lanes on two-lane roundabouts. End of story.

Roundabouts rule if used properly you fag.

Roundabouts are not the problem. There are loads of the things in Milton Keynes, as the major road system is build on a grid layout and there aren't and traffic jams or tailbacks in the city at all. Quite the opposite, the traffic is almost always free-flowing. The only tailbacks occur are on the entry/exit to the city in two spots with the largest roundabouts which are controlled by traffic lights, and even then it's only for a couple of minutes.

I'm a cyclist. I've lost count of the number of times some fuckwit has failed to signal, then glares at me for getting in his way.
WELL, I'M VERY SORRY YOU FUCKING RETARD, BUT I DIDN'T KNOW YOU WERE GOING THERE BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T TELL ME.
Thankfully, Bristol's drivers aren't quite as bad as Yeovil's, so my blood pressure has recovered slightly since I started Uni.
But the stupid things pedestrians do is just as bad, like stepping off the curb IMMEDIATELY IN FRONT OF ME without looking.
Then there's the parked car whose driver opens the door without looking in the mirror... last time that happened it cost me £40 to get the front forks replaced. Thankfully the collision must've royally fucked up his car door. I'm reliably informed that those hinges are not cheap to replace.

Well, I grant that Milton Keynes might be arranged in a way that they actually work, but round here there are a few roundabouts that always result in a tailback during rush hour, and they can get up to half a mile long. Too many times roundabouts are overloaded so that one entrance generally blocks up.
