Once again I've done it.
While still early in the game I visited Caldera and found the Book that shows the corruption in the ebony mines. I thought it might come in handy later so I took it. Weeks later when I was too heavy again I looked in my inventory and... "What's this stupid book doing here?" *Tosses book some where in the middle of nowhere.*
Now I'm stuck in the Redoran house quest and don't know what to do. Does anybody have the code that will make the book appear in front of me? Is there any other way out of this?

Free the slaves to disable the mine. This is to disable the mine right?

No, it's the one where I have to find some evidance of corruption for the Redoran quest giver. Disabling the mines I think would be the next mission.
