After successfully sneaking around some house and stealing stuff, I don't have any chance to escape guards at the entrance... It is not a natural condition. As soon as the door is shut and I'm in the street, the guard is facing me... It's like guards are everywhere seeing everything, like the almighty gods! I should have at least one chance to hide behind the door, and listen tilll the footsteps sound disappears to make an attempt to sneak past... Like in life, I would have had that chance no matter what... It would've depend upon my skills, of cource, but at the present moment however good my sneaking skills are, it doesn't really matter a damn...((
First of all, they cannot know if I was robbing the place or just purchasing something. I don't think it's writen on my face, is it?... If I made too much noise - that would do, ok... But what's the point trying so hard to make everything quietly, when the guard's after me in the end, no matter how quiet?...
I demand a Realistic Guards Mod! :D

There is one in the mods thread. Also sneak when you steal stuff.

It's getting easy to fight, and that problem doen't bother me any longer.... But I can't seem to find a proper objective... I mean, do I have to necessarily join some guild to get an asignment? Cos for what I've been doing for the last two days was crashing guards and monsters, stealing and robbing....

You could also try getting arrested. No, really. Let yourself get arrested and do some time. You'll meet all the wrong sorts of people...

If you want to avoid fighting, just get five grand soul gems with grand souls (ok, you will have to kill some things to get these ) and enchant 5 pieces of armour each with 20% chameleon.
Nothing will be able to see you because chameleon is still as stupidly overpowered in Oblivion as it was in Morrowind, plus you can chop things to pieces and they can't fight back.
although that may be true for most occasionally trolls can see you ive beaten the game 3 times like that :D

Well, Lockpicking is like this:
try the... well, whatever it is until you hear a click sound("di,da"), press the left mouse immediately.
By the way, the quest Unfriendly Competition, in the crypt, who has ever tried to sneak behind Aragmir, take his key and his shovel, And escape, alive?
Will it be possible?
I managed to sneak into the right side of the crypt, but Aragmir is looking this way...
[Edit]
Alright, I managed to spare Aragmir's life. When he walks to me, I picked his pocket for the key, and after the "nice" conversation. I ran out and the guards chased them while they are chasing me. They chased me all the way to Talos Plaza, and Aragmir's swordsman has been taken down by the guards. But when I start searching for Aragmir's body, I found him in Green Emperor Way and alive. I sneaked back to the crypt and see if I can get his shovel. I found him in the crypt! And when he speaks to me, well, it's the same sort of conversation. And after that, no weapons are drawn. He just stand there, watching me taking his shovel and escape...(Well, maybe he is making amends)
The quest log doesn't update until I brought the shovel to Thoronir. And then get my reward.
That was interesting... You can kill no one to complete this quest.
BTW, I think Aragmir don't want to leave that crypt since he dug a nice grave for himself there.

Me I noticed that the pins moved UP at varying speeds. Then I worked out if I waited until a pin moved up at its slowest speed, it would lock into place. Locks became ridiculously easy to unlock when I worked out that little technique.
