Okay, so you can kill the cute dog in front of the tavern, take his meat, cook it, and eat it. Cool! This game lets you be a sicko! So I gleefully go and try to take meat from a dead rat. I was very excited to be eating rat. But shock of shocks, there wasn't any meat on the rat! I was incensed! Sigh....I hope the full game will let me dine in style. Rats taste suprisingly good, you know.

Yeah...that doesn't make any sense to me. If we can take it from dogs and chickens...(i'm assuming pigs too but they're just so damn cute i couldn't bear to try it ;) ) i think we should be able to take it from any creature, including humans and goblins. Not that i myself would ever do it, i'm a vegetarian :)

I tried to kill it (should I say "him"?). He was crying! I'm a monster!!!
I even feel ashamed to attack just a cluster of artificial polygons with limited AI; but yes I feel ashamed and guilty... :(
The same goes with attacking the rest of the tavern, especially the barmaid.
If I feel like that when "killing" pixels, I'm definitely not going to be a serial killer IRL. :)

That's something that's been bothering me : how do you take the rats? (or search their corpse) .. I couldn't drag the corpses nor was I able to doubleclick on them.

You don't, apparently. Anybody figured out how to catch fish with the fishing pole yet? (Bamboo Pole + Rope = Fishing Pole, FYI). Also good to hear that there are at least some people out there who aren't becoming serial killers due to playing games :p

maybe you need a hook to catch fish... (and some pieces of meat)
you cannot search a rat's corpse but you can still hit it (and watch it bleed ! :devil: )

no...the fishing pole works....go near some water and right click it in your inventory.....depending on the sound, I either got no fish or two.....
I had 20 fish in no time!

Sigh . I wasn't able to kill the dog .. nor the pigs ... no .. it's not a bug! I was nearly going to try it, and then I said 'oh damn the puppy', went in and tried to take out the crowd in the tavern ;)

One of the guys in the tavern, upstairs, with only one eye, seems to have a rather groovy sword. Anyone succeeded in getting it off him? I haven't actually tried yet.
