bad f**king day.

need a lil background info first.

i have been taking combat ki lately, an american version of a few different styles of fighting, focusing on pain tolerance stamina and such.

i am new, but i can take a whole lot more hits than i used to be able to.


i met a girl named jen a while ago, 14 years old, no self esteem, not a lot of freinds, but thats not this story. point being, ive known her for about 2 years and i love the kid, shes like the lil sister i never had.

our coach "i could say sensei an stuff but im white trash that dont know what half of it means" came up with a lil exercise where 5 bags are hung from the roof, ranging from knee to shoulder height, with bells and streamers and such attached to them.

you are blindfolded, someone starts them swinging, and you attemp to hit the bags just from hearing them, difficult, but ive gotten quite good at it.

this morning i went in early, didnt have practice for about half an hour so i decided to work the bags a bit.

long story short, im getting really into it, have knocked down 3 bags, when my foot hits somethin hard, all i can think is "d**n that hurt a little" as i pull off the blindfold.

thats when i see her lying about 4 feet away.

the hard thing i felt was apparently the side of her face.

It was an accident. Big shit.

I mean, yeah, it could have been a lot worse, and of course you feel bad because you did it to a weaker person.

Things are especially exaggerated when you're dealing with someone with low self-confidence. That's just how some people are. Personally, I simply don't know how to deal with people who significantly lack self-esteem, so I try and avoid them as much as possible.

So, basically, you're going to feel bad for a while, which is natural and correct, and it will eventually go away, and then you guys can joke about it later, and it will be one of those little inside joke, jab-type things that only you two will share, which is always a neat thing.

Also, using capitalization leads to maximum coherence!

EDIT: Did she go to urgent care? She should get checked out for a concussion or other things.
