Crap almighty, why don't you just write the original story? You already know it anyway. Just keep guessing and you will have the whole thing. Apparently the way you want it is the way it is. No shit, you guess that well. You wont even need to read it that way.

They`d far more likely develop a tranquilizer dart style solution then start shooting all the infected people with it or something similar.
Yeah, they could've wholly given over to the darkside and just get Will Smith back in Bad Boys/MIB mode, had him leaning out of the door of a humvee with rap music playing while firing his own homegrown space-age tranq-dart gun at a rate of 1000 darts per minute into wave after wave of terribly CGI rendered zombies. I bet you would've ate that shit up.

I highly doubt that. If that ending had been in there, then the entire movie would have made no sense at all.
My point was that everyone else would be walking out anyway as the film would be over at that point...

driver: Ok well yeah. Makes sense.
Scots Taffer: Change the humvee to that sports car from the start of the movie and yeah maybe :p.
What I`d more interested in, is what the "cured" zombie/vampires would be like. Would they have been totally human again both in form and behavior or would they be human form only, but with the zombie/vampire behavior still, since that was the only way they`d been behaving as, for the last several years.

See, this is what really galls me. Scots and I and people have put enough disseminated book spoilers itt already btw, so telling the plot ain't no thang.
In the book he IS one of the only ones "left behind". The world has moved on and the zombievampires now have a new society that exists only at night. Neville has become a boogieman to them, a legendary monster in their lore, the bastard who murders your entire street at night, a name that will be whispered in hushed tones for years to come (and they know his name). It's a fairly obvious flip on the head and the title is a massive hint, but it's the WAY it's done that is great.
:( Hollywood.

Scots hasn't read the book. Paying your usual attention I see.

I know he hasn't and I haven't seen Saving Private Ryan but guess what I reckon Matt Damon survives oh no that can't be a spoiler because I haven't seen it shut up.
