As chilling as the deserted New York City in the film this thread is based on... but similarly, as soon as the actual movie content began, I lost interest.

They were still in discussions about the ending for I Am Legend until a few short weeks before the premiere was due and they had to do the final scenes in a BIG hurry, with a few re-shoots necessary. Thus giving an insubstantial and very disappointing finale.
The storyline of the growing evidence that the Dark-Seekers actually had intelligence and a community was dumped and it became just an action-fest for the biggest aimed-for demographic i.e. 16-25 year-old males. :tsktsk:

Well, someone else changed the subject (I Am Legend) to this, and I saw both of the "28" series, and I can't tell the difference between them. It looked like 28 weeks was an excuse to make the same movie over again. I can see it now "hey, I found a cinematic way to start another outbreak!!!!" (Yawwwnnnnn....) And the beginning, what a SUCK. People hiding in a house for that long, undetected while the rage goes on outside their house for that long. Then, one day, a person inside moves a piece of newspaper and BANG!!!! Zombie killfest!!! A zombie happened to be looking into that same spot from outside!!! Darn, now we need a new place to hide... (I can't go on...)
