Well, the lame parts at the start at least.

There's got to be something pretty wrong with this thread when I find myself agreeing with everything Tulsidas has said in it.

I haven't read it, but if it's as bad as you say it is, then maybe it
was his fault; At least as much as the slew of games ludicrously imitating Thief's stealth gameplay back then were LGS's.

God told me to end the tyranny in Iraq
As soon as we lose the moral basis, we cease to be religious. There is no such thing as religion over-riding morality. Man, for instance, cannot be untruthful, cruel or incontinent and claim to have God on his side.

I think one day there will be a man named Tulsidas who will quote me so much that my words start to sound banal and empty. What am I some fucking prophet, goddamit?

Two quotes, both being entirely relevant to the current goings-on in this George Bush era, were too much for you?
Btw, making prophets out of ordinary people is the reason why man is continuously distancing himself from what he could be. Just saying.
Cheer up man. Get out a little.

Three quotes.
So just out of curiosity, what distracts you from what you could be? Just asking.

@Gandhi - Are you a hindu?
Gandhi - Yes I am. I am also a Christian, a Muslim, a Buddhist and a Jew.
The jews said he couldn't be one after he said they should have willingly submitted to the Holocaust, not even attempting to flee. During the partition in India he also advised those fleeing the violence to return and be killed.

Well, Jesus would say "turn the other cheek" and HE was a Jew.

Incorrect.
He advised them to return and settle all lingering disputes peacefully. Unfortunately, with religious zealots refusing to recognize ideas like peace and brotherhood, the only logical alternative left was to part.
My grandfather went through all that.

So he effectively said, "return and be killed", regardless of his intentions.
Christians and Jews are at odds because one denies Christ and the other does not.
Both accept God however, but Buddhists do not. Don't ask me about Hindus, but I know Muslims also don't fit together with the other faiths.
So either it's a mis-quote, or Gandhi stuffed up. You can't be an apple and an orange. Sure, you can have characteristics of either or both, but that doesn't make you both.
Same rules apply to Bush, and a lot of others who claim to belong to such-and-such a religion. Half of them don't even know what they're talking about, and just choose whatever faith they think suits them best.
