Humble's newest bunch of games is:
Mafia: Definitive Edition
Iron Harvest
Project Winter
Rebel Cops
Rustler
The Henry Stickmin Collection
Farmer's Dynasty
Between The Stars
Retrowave
Midnight Protocol
Mafia of course is excellent and I'd be happy with that alone, but it's also the only game in the bunch that I already own. The others? Nothing too exciting there. Let's see...
Iron Harvest? Seems fairly interesting for an RTS actually! I like its theme and the setting.
Project Winter? 8 person multiplayer - nope.
Rebel Cops? Looks like a poor man's X-Com, but maybe there's something more. I'll probably never find out though!
Rustler? The idea of a medieval GTA with horses sounds like fun, but from the trailers this one seems to be trying too hard to be funny. Could give this one a go at some point.
The Henry Stickmin Collection? Dunno what to think about this one. Could be okay?
Farmer's Dynasty? No, I'm not gonna play one of those farming simulators.
Between the Stars? Space action RPG, seems interesting, still in early access though.
Retrowave? Just another one of those retro arcade racing games.
Midnight Protocol? Seems way too clever for me in my current life situation.

Humble's newest bunch of games is:
The people I know who also pay attention to Humble Choice have all said they're skipping this month's offerings completely. According to them Mafia and Iron Harvest are basically the only decent games.

I finally weaned myself off of it a couple of months back, forcing my way through all the FOMO messages to cancel my subscription.
I can't remember the last game I got with it that I actually played.

I know, I just haven't managed to break the FOMO barriers yet. Nowadays the most fun part of Humble Choice is to check out what the newest bunch of games is, but for quite a while it has been rather disappointing now. I haven't actually played any of these games for months either. On the other hand, with Humble Choice I get games that I would normally never buy otherwise, and some of them have turned out to be pretty good! But the thing is that I already have enough games for the rest of my life (and the next one), so any sensible person would just cancel the subscription and only buy games that you're really going to play.

They do have some devious tricks up their sleeve. Last time I wanted to cancel, they were like, "how about we give you next 3 months half price off?" And I figured 6 dollars for a bunch of games per month is not that bad of a deal, even on the chance most of them end up to be stinkers.

Hey, I'm gonna try that too! :D
I'm not even bothered about losing the Classic plan (old customers who haven't cancelled their subscription get all 10 games) because we'll never see a month where anyone would actually want all 10 games. It's still nice to get those titles that I would normally never buy otherwise, but nowadays I'm lucky if I get to play ten different games a year. I used to do this backlog reducing thing though where I would install a game that I would know nothing about and give it a try. Most games were uninstalled within half an hour, but it was still quite fun and I discovered some decent games that way.

I think I just keep pausing for now when it's a lackluster month. 12 dollars from time to time is not that much and I buy games like twice a year outside of that, so it's not that big of a hit on my entertainment budget.

Apparently Humble Choice has been "upgraded", and it's now better than ever! Let's take a look at the February games:
Borderlands 3
Borderlands 3: Director's Cut
Black Book
Per Aspera
Just Die Already
Before We Leave
Paradise Lost
Everhood
Calico
Less games for the same price doesn't sound like a very good update to me. They say that it's now all about quality over quantity, but those games above don't really seem all that great. Having said that, I don't know any of those apart from Borderlands 3 (and I've never played a Borderlands game either), so I'm happy to be proven wrong!
From now on there's only one "plan" available for all customers too. The Classic plan for loyal customers is gone and merged with the others, so I guess I don't have to worry about canceling my subscription anymore. :D They've also released something called the Humble App for Windows - I installed it right away because I thought it's something where I could manage all the game keys and purchases that I've done in Humble Store and the bundles. Turns out that it's only a launcher for the free collection of games (used to be called Treasure Trove or something I think, now it's Humble Games Collection) that you get when you subscribe and nothing more.

Let me get this straight... the new plan where you don't get to choose any of the games is still called Humble Choice? Well, I guess technically take it or leave it counts as a choice.
