No its not, but if you read about the special editions anywhere else you'll find out who it is and be spoiled. There are extra weapons and tools too.
The existence of this stuff in the special editions is ridiculous.

Well fuck it, I've just preordered the collector's edition off Amazon. I mean why not, I know I want the artbook at least, and I'm gonna buy the game on day one anyway. Also ordered the novel, James Swallow appears to have a good standing with the scifi community, may turn out an interesting read. The only thing that's left is what might turn out to be a comic book / graphic novel / thing, will see if I wanna go all out as a consumerist whore on this title...

Yes I knew there would be a cameo appearance of a Deus Ex character, I didn't know(and I don't want to know) who it would be though.
