Anyhoo, my former mom-in-law was a teacher and about ten yrs. ago the super at her school strongly advised all the teachers not to hug kids at the school anymore. His reasoning? 1.) To prevent any accusations of child molesting, 2.) To avoid catching head lice from the kids.
