Well that's why I have a an antivirus program installed :). If you;re interested, there's a free one available (

It doesn't have a virus at all. The new continent/island looks pretty cool and it's very original, but as the site says it's VERY puzzle oriented. I'm going to play it when my char is stronger. But the screen shots really don't do it justice, it's a very cool looking game. I can't believe someone would spend their time on something as big as that!

thats pretty lame if someone puts a virus in a mod to kill your computer :erg:

There's always a chance that a file you download will have a virus, and it's not necessesarily put there by the author. Some viruses have a way of infecting files on their own, or some malicious hacker can put them in there without the authors' knowledge.
I'm not trying to scare anyone from trying out these mods. Just get an antivirus and you'll be alright.

Yeah, its VERY unlikely that someone would put a virus in their own Mod, especially one of the biggest ones for Morrowind to date. You know how long it can take to make a small mod? The fastest one I made for Thief took about 6 full days and it was pretty small.

i checked out Wizard Islands, it looks awesome, i cant wait. does anyone know what the ETA is? also sword of Perithia looks very good, though i haven't tried it.
i wouldnt be too worried about viruses as long as you download then from the creator. i wouldnt trust kazaa or other such p2p programs.

I've played pretty much all the way through The Sword of Perithia and it's pretty good although I'm not sure I can finish it because I think something broke somewhere near the end.:grr: And while you do have the rest of Morrowind out there I believe it's suggested that you start a new character and the main quest(for Morrowind) gets broken right at the start of the game. The gameplay is more puzzle oriented and (to me at least) harder and the landscape is very nice but be ready for the framerate hit you'll take in exchange for that pretty scenery, I actually downloaded the the Morrowind FPS Optimizer so I could change my viewdistance on the fly for some areas. The interiors are nice too but many of them were recycled from places found in Morrowind, I found my self constantly recognizing places that were only slightly altered from the original location.

There is a castlevania mod out im looking to try. It says it is really graphically intense...
i was just wondering if anyone has already tried it and would recommend it to me :p
