DillDow: The GF4 MX series does not, if I remember correctly, actually contain a GF4 chip, like the GF4 Ti's do. It's actually a GF2 chip with bells on. Which sounds like an attempt to mislead the consumer to me, but there you are. Hence, it won't support pixel shading since it's not really a GF4.

does anyone have a new link to this patch or the file itself? i just got morrowind and i wanna see how much it may boost my performance like stated.

Yes please if someone can give an updated link to the file shown at the top.
From what I'm seeing it appears that many people, myself included, would prefer to try that file before attempting the gamecopyworld version of things. Maybe they are the same file who knows?
