mechanically seperated chicken sounds great, at least from a visual point of view.

Holy fuck Gille. Seriously, are you a high school graduate? Still in school? I'm not trying to be mean, but I fear for your future. You simply do not have the skills to write a coherent sentence that can be understood. I did not understand a single thing in your last post.
This is a link to a book called (
http://www.amazon.com/Essentials-English-Grammar-Sue-Baugh/dp/0071457089/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1203431354&sr=8-5) 'Essentials of English Grammar' by Sue Baugh. It's a great handbook for learning sentence construction, subject verb agreement, and of most interest to you, the proper use of punctuation. It's relatively cheap and it would really help you out. I'm sure you have relevant things to say, but you need to learn how to say them coherently.
Help me to help you.

No I am not I left School long ago.
At least I do not have to use expletives all the time.
There has been far worse.
As for never posting again don't worry I won't.

If you speak like you write then there are more serious issues.
But if, as many people, you're just a little lazy when typing stuff, that is more easily solved; just take more care, and read over your post. There's no rush to post stuff, so just make sure that it reads as you would say it.
Unless, of course, that is actually how you think things should be said. In which case, a little more learning.

Jesus Christ, Gillie. Don't get all fucking butthurt just because someone is providing constructive criticism. And don't listen to PigLick.

Holy crap, people. From what I understand, Gillie's an older woman, with grown children. Maybe she didn't have the advantage of a lot of schooling, or the leisure time to read a lot. She's been a solid-enough contributor to this forum. I was surprised by your smug, condescending post, fett--that's not like you--and the ensuing pile-on by others. Let's tone the snobbery down a bit, shall we?

Meh. He finds it hard to understand what she says because of the way she says it. I do too. Maybe she didn't benefit from schooling - but why is it bad to point her to something that might be useful to her now?
fett on 19/2/2008 at 18:28
I didn't think I was being snobby. Can YOU interpret what she's trying to say? I've read four posts and can't make heads or tails of it. The point of posting on a forum board is to communicate and if you aren't able to do it, it's a good idea to learn how, yes? That's why I recommended the book instead of just making fun. I hoped it would be taken in the spirit it was intended rather than as ridicule.

It's not about snobbery, the issue really is that if she isn't able to make herself understood, she'll be ignored or dismissed; not taken seroiusly. Yet she clearly has things she wants to say - so it would be a shame, would it not, if her points were hampered by poor literacy? And, more often than not, they are. I can get a feel for what she's driving at, but it's really hard work.
