Very annoying, this. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so is there a fix? I can't find one.
Playing single player PC with 1.0005 patched game which runs sweetly otherwise. When loading any save after starting the game, the HUD is present for a while, then disappears. Reloading (any) savegame does not correct the problem, but coming out of it completely and re-starting the game does..............then it disappears again. All stats are still available via PDA, not so convienient tho. Suggestions, please....

Well there's the obligatory 'try updating/rolling back your drivers' suggestion...
You might want to list your spec, are you running vista? Any mods on stalker?

I'd rather stick needles in my eyes than run Vista.
XP SP2, 1GB DDR RAM, Pentium 4 3.40Ghz 800 FSB dual core, Asus P4S800, Creative Soundblaster 5.1, Paging file set to system managed, no mods in game, only put the thing on my PC yesterday.

Well I'm guessing that your lack of a graphics card is the problem...

Well I've got an X800XT without the latest driver and it works fine, have you tried using an earlier driver?

or it could be you're pressing the HUD go away button, possibly even having bound it to something else. I can't remember what it is off hand

Scanned the printed instructions and the in game options for this, as it really is the obvious thing to check first isn't it, but I can't see it.

Don't you use saves that were made while you were playing with some mods?
