A million separate broadcast versions of that man and the words "sugar tits" are now flying toward those distant galaxies at light speed.
Kinda makes you feel small.

Does this mean the "Big Bang" was actually just a Cosmic Burp?

If you were to hold a coin-sized window about 75 feet away into the sky and looked through it, zooming in as much as technologically possible, the Hubble Deep Field is what you would see.
The great thing about this picture is the range of colour, size and shape of galaxies. I think every single object in the frame is a galaxy apart from the gleaming star-like object near the centre which is, unsurprisingly, a star. Such insignificance makes you wonder why people want to try and wage petty wars and powerstruggles at great cost; their lives and their effect on the grander scale is nothing; the contribution is even less.

I think we need Mars to Attack to unit humanity.
I was at a star party recently and one of the astronomers said the funding to replace the Hubble with the James Webb Space Telescope is no longer available. I made a half-hearted attempt to find written proof to support this statement and did not find it. Has anyone else heard of this?
