Crassius wants me to kill a Redoran for building a manor without a permit or suchlike... thing is, I don't dislike Redoran, and want a way to back out of this quest. Is there any way I can avoid killing the guy? *checks* Banden Indarys?

Go speak with Dondos Driler in Balmora's House Hlaalu. You can skip it as long as you have done enough for the house. You may have to go back and talk to Crassius before it will work. I went ahead and killed the guy anyways but I found out I did have to since he never brought the quest back up. The quest seemed screwy, as he thought it to be no big deal I killed the guy after I brought the topic up at a later time.

why is that giving you problems??
i went n whacked the guy... i can barely remember it actually
and it was like 2 days ago...
name rings a bell though... tryin to remember what the place looked like..
oh well... he didn't put up much of a fight and i think i sent his whole
household after him... (just enter the dialog screen ('you're not spossed to be here')
4 or so times and they attack you on their own )
*grin* can't wait to start the morag tong quests...
with my sneak stats in the mid 80's *evil smirk*

awwww i am not actually evil, evil...
just living in the grey area...
i go outta my way to be nice... just the other day..
i re-united a husband and wife after they were attacked
by nix-hounds... all they give me was a crap book...
but i am ambitious... boss says wack em and unless
that somehow goes against me rising higher i'll do it...
that's why i am boss now...

ROFLMAO @ Ethical problems. :laff:
It is a game, if you are someway worried that it will affect your mortal soul, then maybe you should stick to Pac man but he even eats those ghosts... so maybe something along the line as Tetris? Just don't hurt the blocks.. they have feelings too...
It IS just a game, it is called "role playing". You are playing it as you want the charachter in it to interact. Just like reading a book, or watching a movie. More like a REALLLLLLLLY Good Choose your own adventure.
If movies and books are evil to you too, I don't know what to say? Maybe try playing yahtzee :thumb: I doubt that would stir to many ethical problems.

*chuckles quietly and takes off his Moderator hat* Lissen, iff'n he wants to play like that, it's his choice; many people like to get entirely into the game to the point where they go out of their way to play their character's mannerisms (be they saintly or homicidal). If he was being a jerk and telling you that you have to play his way, okay, that's one thing... but he's just saying how he feels; respect it, neh? ;)
Edit: Fixed a typo.

Even though Forsythe is right, I love the Anti-PC oozing from Myriad .
