It's really good to read from so many familiar names. I see a lot of common struggles (same here, for a lot of it), but that just makes me happier for each bit of good news. ♥
I'm hanging in there. Tomorrow I have the latest in the nearly multiple years long string of gatekeeping appointments as I try to get socialized transition healthcare. I appreciate that there's a public option here, but they do make you go through a lot to get it. On the other hand things are in much better shape for me career-wise than they were when I began this (things are really good at Arkane right now) so if they just say "actually we're going to deny you hormone replacement therapy," then going the private route may actually be financially tenable.
After the Thief podcast I joined in on a few weeks ago I thought I'd peek in and say hi. Glad I did. :D

Very happy to see you're doing well in spite of having to jump through these hoops. Here in Spain (Specifically Barcelona) they do informed consent so starting is relatively easy, but I know that as a French citizen I'll have to come back to my native city and present my case to a judge for any official change (unless they change the laws, which isn't likely)
Myself, I feel very bittersweet these days, I was (and still am) feeling very content about my personal journey but I lost my father three weeks ago so... yeah it's been rough. :(

This thread has me tripping out! I saw KOMAG's name pop up so I hopped over to see that the Keep is updated (Shocked!).
I don't interact a ton but I've read a lot of the threads over the last twenty years and I'm always excited to see some of the OG members pop in for a chat.
I'm 49 now and the TTLG forums and T2 fan missions have gotten me through many hard times, and have made life generally more interesting.

So glad to see this forum is still around. I was just thinking about forums that I registered in before the millennium and this one came to mind (I originally had an early 1998 registry, but didn't log back in right after the forum had a soft reset of all the accounts).
I still think the Thief community is one of the best I've ever been a part of. The fact this place still exists proves that.
Side note though, do we have a Discord? I'll be honest, I'm more likely to check in on that more often than a forum these days. :D

Inflation is the big concern in NZ at the moment.
Prices on just about everything increasing meaning cost of living going up. :(
Is it like that for all of you as well?
Doing ok otherwise, we have been reasonbly fortunate around covid compared to so much of the rest of the world
