After playing Snowblind for a couple of hours I can say they're are plenty of similarities with the game world of DX, however, the gameplay is quite different.
It a lot more of a standard FPS shooter, but seems pretty good fun so far. The bio-mods are very similar, the cannisters are identical. The old bio-mod versus cyborg type inplants thing is there.
It may be of interestto some of you others out there. As long as you aren't expecting a deep, tactical type game...

Having rented it for free (didn't want to pay for it in case it was totally crap), I agree with the above. I had low expectations, but it's good if you just want some mindless fun shooting stuff & in some ways I'm finding it more fun than DX:IW- but that could just be because it doesn't really pretend to be something it isn't. The dialogue is awful though.

Yeah, some of the dialog is so cheesy. The combat is pretty fun though. Having finished the game I would say it a bit too easy and short for my liking though... Probably best renting it a couple for a couple of days.

My boyfriend gets games discounted, so we'll wait until it drops in price & get it really cheap then. He could have got it today in a 'trade in 4 games get a chart game for 99p' deal, but he got Timesplitters 3 instead.

LOL.. this is sad... I only just loaded the eidos web site, and can only hear the sound just now. it has the beeps from Deus Ex, and the moody atmospheric (which now sound generic and shallow) background sound from thief DS ... I wish eidos would shrivel and die... oh they have...
