Well, Project Snowblind (aka Deus Ex 3) is coming out really soon and there isnt a forum for it. Who here thinks there should be one?

No it isn't.

I don't even think Snowblind has anything to do with the Deus Ex storyline, courtesy of Ion Storm. "Console-oriented" they say. Ha! Those guys have no conscience.

There will not be a Project: Snowblind Forum at TTLG.
The original idea started out as a console game called Deus Ex: Clan Wars (not DX3), then they realised that that was a really shitty idea and shelved that and now have a different game.

Bioshock isn't even System Shock 3 and it is supposedly it's spiritual successor and we have a forum for it. Snowblind is Deus Ex's spiritual successor and that's why I thought it was worthy of it's own forum. And snowblind is scheduled for a release on February 15th for the PC. At most 4 months away is far away to me. We have nearly 1 month until it comes out.

Well to me, Snowblind is a flagrant ripoff of DX with no clear plot to it and no real connection except scamming Deus Ex's concepts: ie a global anti-terrorist network, an advanced world of biomodification, and a newer and older generation of biomodified subjects (and clashes between the two). There's no clear outlook for the future, like in Deus Ex, but I can't say there's a clear beginning either. Sorry if I offended you, I can't really put any faith into this game. This is at what if heard so don't get mad if I'm wrong. First, the makers (whoever they were) were planning Snowblind as DX: Clan Wars, a DX3 if you will. Then the makers got lazy (or greedy whichever you think sounds better) and dropped that idea, turning the project into another mindless, plotless FPS game, like Doom 3 and Duke Nukem (and I don't see how a game like that could possibly be a "spiritual successor to DX"). DX is (supposed to be) about atmosphere and story, not flashy weapons). Well, I think I've made my point...or whatever.

Snowblind was never intended to be Deus Ex 3. It was never intended as a 'successor' at all, spiritual or otherwise. At best it was only intended as a more action-oriented spinoff called Clan Wars (which as I understand it was only a working title). It may have started out as a game set in the Deus Ex universe, but not anymore. They didn't change from a Deus Ex ripoff into a more action-oriented game, either because it was a 'shit idea' or some other reason. The gameplay has not changed during development; it was always an action game.
The developers are Crystal Dynamics, and they've had close contact with Ion Storm during development. You can't really call Snowblind a ripoff of Deus Ex, since the developers have been in contact with each other.
I don't think I've ever seen so much confusion about a game. It's nearly at the point where Crystal Dynamics needs to put down in writing exactly how this game came about, because people are writing such nonsense about it.

A DX ripoff to an action orient ripoff, you mean. And I was just saying what I heard. Instead of documenting how it came about, I'd like to see it's actual point/story put down ON ITS WEBSITE (the horror).

It is using the Deus Ex 2 engine and you still have the exact same biomods plus more. It seems like it is going to be better than Deus Ex 2 cause they arent making it come out for the pc and consoles at the same time and the levels arent the same and the textures are going to be better. Also, I remember a few weeks before Deus Ex 2 came out Warren Spector made that they had already begun work on a Deus Ex 3. Project Snowblind seems a lot more deus exy than Bioshock looks system shockey.
