How to use magic scrolls, spells, etc..... ? - by scottish phantom

Ok, this is going to sound weird but I can't help it. I am at the level where I have the corprus disease and I have to find the cure. One major problem.. the place where I have to go is a tower without stairs. I am a fighter and haven't learned how to use magic yet, I honestly have no idea how to use a magic scroll. Could someone give me some advice in how to use them? When ever I look at the scrolls in my inventory, the only word on the scrolls that shows up is the word close in the top right hand corner. What am I supposed to do to make the scroll work for me?:confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:

Ahhh, on the right-click menu you should have a 'magic' sub-window; select the scroll there, hit 'R' to bring up your casting cands, and hit the mouse button.
On the off chance that you've closed out your magic sub-window as unneccessary, note that there are three icons in the lower-left of the main window. While in the right-click mode, click on the right-most of those 3 icons and your magic sub-window should pop up.
