For those like me that have had Carpal or other problems associated with overuse of the mouse:
I am unsure about other operating systems, but in Windows 98 under the control panel is an option called Accessability. Within this under the tab called mouse is an option to turn on mousekeys. This enables mouse movement using the numeric key pad.
Note that the mouse is still active as well.
Set the speed and acceleration sliders within the Mousekeys page to maximum, and also turn up the mouse acceleration within Morrowind. It seems to work well as a way of turning and looking up and down in Morrowind as Morrowind accepts the Numeric keypad presses quite happily as belonging to mouse movement, and acts accordingly.
To eliminate the mouse further, you can reasign the action keys for left click and right click within the Morrowind input setup option. It does not seem to want to take any other keys from the numeric keypad for this though, and you might have to use main keyboard presses to substitute for left click/right click.
The accessability option is not installed by default in Windows 98. If it is missing within your control panel, go to Add/remove programs, Windows setup, select the Accessability Option tick box and follow the directions to install from your Windows 98 CD.
Happy hunting folks :)
