Ok, im confused here. I have the latest patches on SS2, I can start a new game, etc, and it all works dandy, but how in the hell do I start a multiplayer game?!

That doesnt help. I cant see the damn choice! I decided to post here because it was the more active forum, therefore I would receive an answer more expediently than in the other.
Also, if you dont have anything nice to say Kolya, then dont say anything, I'm not an idiot, I know how to read stickies.

That is no valid reason for posting in the wrong forum.
The option to start a new MP game should be visible with the official patch installed, so I have no idea what could be wrong there. Any mods or other stuff that you also have installed?
RavynousHunter on 21/10/2007 at 21:49
Nope, no mods or anything, and when I try to apply the patch, it says I'm already at v 2.3. I have no idea wtf is going on, but its annoying me. Maybe a config problem?

Once you have found the big MULTIPLAYER button in the MAIN MENU you will soon encounter a new problem: You will need friends who want to play with you.

Kolya, just quit while you're ahead. I think I would notice a fuck-off big button called "MULTIPLAYER." I'm not blind.
Kolya on 21/10/2007 at 22:21
Okay pumpkin, since you don't see the Multiplayer button, your game is either not patched at all, or not patched correctly. Try installing this (
http://www.sshock2.com/files/shkpatch.exe) patch, tell me how it works.
EDIT: Sorry, I see you did that already. Second plz.

It says I'm at v2.3, ergo, it wont patch. I'm gonna check the config files, maybe theres something there...
Ha! It was a messed up netplay_ui line in SHOCK.CFG, for some reason, it had two on the same line... Well, problem fixed.
