I got a new gaming laptop and installed Thief 1 & 2. After installing Tfix for both games, now they won't launch. They had no problem launching on Windows 8.1.

Nevermind. Just went created a shortcut for each.

What do you mean exactly - could you please explain a bit more precise about how creating a shortcut solved this?
