Hi,

So, another one with a problem, but it's quite a weird one... :confused:
I had no problems installing SS2 and after I installed the Indego Codec, everything worked fine. I started the game and went trough the introduction where you choose your career, no problems. (Of course, I got the Patch and no compatibility mode)

But when the actual game started in the cryo chamber, the game freezed after 5 seconds including an annoying sound loop again and again from Politos first message, without going back to Windows.
Now everytime I load the savegame in the cryo chamber, the game freezes after 5 seconds, sometimes earlier. Even if I start a new game, freeze after 5 seconds in the introduction.

Now the strange thing is, I reinstalled SS2 and the introduction worked fine again, no freeze. But then in the cryo chamber, it freezes after 5 seconds...and, after that, the same with the introduction again when I start a new game... :mad:

Any idea? Could it depend on the sound? I tried every compatibility mode but that didn't help.

Sorry I haven't found the FAQ thread first, but I was redirected exactly to this thread here searching on google for troubleshooting and I was in no particularly good mood...looking any further... :rolleyes:

I am really sorry, but I am not color blind. I hand you some tissue though...crying is healthy, clears the lachrymal :(

We were just playing with ya. :)
But try my advice, read the info bits about the dualcore/HT issues, it is more than likely the solution is hiding in there.
