I opened cam.cfg as a notepad document, because I couldn't figure out where to put it in...
Where exactly are you supposed to put it in? Because if that works, i don't even know where to put it in... :(

It's in the SS2 install folder. This is listed in the bright red FAQ post, you know?

I've looked in the FAQ post, but i didn't find anything for my problem.
I've tried installing it with -Lgntforce, and then used the patch for version 2.3.
I got past the Compatibility issues box, but now it freezes when i get to the loading bar. (Like win98.)
I tried already to put in safe_texture_manager in cam.cfg, but i don't know where to put it in!

Just add that line to the bottom of the file, that's all.

Oh right, do you just add that, drop it down and go on to the game?
I was trying to save it, but it couldn't do that... Ok, i could try that.

No, just edit cam.cfg, add that line, save, and play the game. Make sure you change the file from 'read only'. I bet that's the reason why you're unable to save the file after you edit it.

:tsktsk: I was so nearly gonna do that!!!!!
Thank you! That'll do it! :)

To make absolutely sure; just press enter when the blinking black line is next to d3d_driver_index to create a new line, and in that one type safe_texture_manager.
Just in case. :p

When i take read-only off, i get a box that says:
An error has occured applying attributes to the file:
E:\SHOCK\CAM.CFG
Access is denied.
So, if it does that every time, how can i do it?

I got an idea, make the change and then click Save As, and create cam2.cfg. Then delete the old cam.cfg and rename cam2.cfg to cam.cfg. Make sure Save As won't create cam2.cfg.txt, it has to be a CFG file.
