The copy protection is known to be buggy. Your best bet is using a no-CD. Sorry.

i really hope im not repeating anyone's posts but i don't feel like skimming through 20 something pages:
I can install SS2 fine, and i can run the opening cutscene fine, but after the cutscene (when the training is supposed to start) my screen goes black and i am returned to my desktop. What is my problem? i have countlessly uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and tried many of the solutions on the first pg. that i thought would solve it, but nothing works! :eek:im about to flip out:eek: , break my XP and buy a computer that can run it. Help! :confused:

As far as I know, the russian version isn't an official version of the game. Meaning, it's a warez version, and I'm afraid we won't be able to help you with that.

The russian version of the game sshock2 was presented me by Fargus-the official company. the game is translated perfectly(i played it in Win 98) and it has the same problems as the other english versions. I tried some english patches (ex:multiplayer patch) but i see only picture with xerx than it dissapears and i see nothing more. May be its problem with language?

I know russian and English well so you can ask me to translate something.
But I have already visited that sites and as i know there are only passings,
savegames, FAQs... but there are now word about this problem.:confused:
