I have all of that....

Do you have any other old games you play? Maybe your sound card doesn't deal with them too well?
IAMED_2 on 16/6/2005 at 14:21
Yeah, I have some old games too. I have Starcraft (not that old), and DX-BALL, an old breakout game. Sound works perfectly.

Hmmm. Any other Dark engine games? Thief 1, Thief Gold, or Thief 2?
IAMED_2 on 16/6/2005 at 21:24
No, I'm afraid not.

Or, rather, if the problem occurs there too. It'll help narrow down whether it's a problem with just System Shock 2, or all the Dark engine games.

That sound card might not like how the Dark Engine handles audio.
That´s my guess.

Well I have xp and I don´t have any of the problems that you wrote down there. But when I open an iventory, the mouse buttons are still being used for shooting, so I can´t do some things in inventory mode.
Please help

Have you changed the key bindings at all?
