Did you try the torrent? Worst case scenario is I'll split it up and email it to you. Do you have a gmail account? I shudder to think how miserly the AOL inbox limits must be. Mind you, I'll need to download it first. I haven't had need to try that distro lately.

No i don't have a torrent. :( Ive been meaning to get one up and running but have never gotten round to it.
I do have a gmail, its NmgVessey@googlemail.com.

Damn, I'll have to send the files tomorrow. It seems I can't access Gmail. Bittorrent tends to mess with my connection, but for once, it's not doing that as much. It seems I can only access recently accessed sites, as the IPs are still cached. A restart will solve it, but I'm downloading stuff and I really need to get to sleep.
If anyone else sends the files, they'll probably be compressed with Winrar, as splitting up archives to arbitrary sizes is a piece of cake, as opposed to a pain in the arse. Get it from (

Hey I just had a few questions.
1. When I try and run CDSHOCk or RUN VDMS it says "Configuration file not found"
2. Also, whenever I CDSHOCK, it wont open, because of this I cant seem to find the .bat file your talking about.
Any help would be great!

You could try run it with the latest version of dosbox, though I'm not really familiar with the Portable version of SS1.

STEP 8: Here is where it gets somewhat complicated just remember to read and take your time. Right click on CDSHOCK.bat and in the pop-out menu you should see "RUNS VDMS" and "RUN VDMS - but with a musical note graphic infront of it". Click on the one that has the musical note infront of it.
What does one do when only the "Run with VDMS" appears?
