I´ve bought a game that seems to be interesting- "Rune" but its not compatible with windows XP, anyone knows if there´s a pacht or other solution to make it work on Windows XP?

According to the official Rune forums it is XP compatible, or at least it works for some and not for others. System specifications and details of error please.

The game installs itself, but it never runs when i double click on the icon, and not even a message error appears, but in the game specifications says that only works from windows 97 to 2000

Played it somewhat recently (XP SP3), worked without any major hassle. Used the enhanced renderer (D3D version tho), dunno if that helped or not.
Mebbe you got (

PS : Game itself wasnt that great imho :p

Rune is a bit strange this way. A couple of years ago I tried to install it on my XP box, it installed Ok but didn't run (same as you, no error message, nothing.) Uninstalled it again. A few months later I tried it again on the same XP machine, installed it and this time it worked without any problems.:weird:
IIRC, I checked some Rune forums at the time and found the same thing, some people could play it under XP and others just couldn't get it working at all. Never figured out what caused it to work/not work on my PC.
