I was wondering if there is an easy way to lvl your characters cause it seems to be going really slow. Thanks for all the help you can give!

Do stuff.
Run around, jump, hit enemies and sneak around etc. You should find your skills going up and you'll be levelling up nicely.
You can also spend a bit of money and get trainers to improve your major and minor skills.

Read every book you see because some of them will increase your skills. As long as you close the book instead of taking it, you don't even have to buy it. You can walk into a book store or anywhere else for that matter, and read every book that you see. I had one character advance an entire level that way in just the time it took to explore one town.

Yeah, just do the quests, and explore, it's more fun that way. More you do, the more your skills go up, and when you fight tougher enemies, you'll find your skills increase really fast. Powerlevelling isn't worth it, you just make the game too easy

Don't worry. I've found that once your skill get to a certain level, you'll level up like nobody's business. Or if you really want, alchemy is easily raised if you have enough ingredients. I once raised it 4 pts in one potion-making session when I found a whole storeroom of saltrice and kwamna eggs, and it is only a minor skill!

here are a few tricks I use to level.
1)The alchemy trick which someone else has explained
2)To level my magic skills, I make a spell that only costs 1 mp to cast, and I do that repeatedly
3)To raise my armor skills, I put on that kind of armor, I go to the egg mines near balmora, I round up about 6 kwama foragers, and let them all beat on me.
4)To raise block, I do the same thing above, except I wear a shield. Most of the time, I level block and armor at the same time.
5)To raise weapons, I get a summon spell, by the crappiest weapon of what I need (i.e. Chitin war axe, or iron spear) and I beat on athe creature I had summoned. I like spear because if you swing with it, it only does like 3 dmg.
6) training
that's how I level if needed. I have a lvl 40 magic/sword hybrid

Be careful when leveling magic like that not to use "Bound Item" spells as a vehicle for Conjuration. It is buggy, and can screw up certain skills by sending them skyrocketing.

If you look at a lot of threads lying around (mostly with posts like "is this game too easy once you pass level 12?"), you don't NEED to level quickly.
If you level too quickly, the game could become really easy, and therefore a little tedious. Just a warning.

oh-- about the bound spell
NEVER make the duration 0. That will mess up your char.
also, you will be able to cast it faster if you use bound boots. If you bound a weapon, it will always bring hte weapon up and you have to bring out your magic again
