Hello all. Great to play arx. But I need help coz me stuck in lava pit (dwarven city). I tried to jump over the walkway to dungeon where the dwarf body lies, but alway failed. So, me used "Stairway spell" 'n fly over, it works! (btw me don't like it). How can I jump over it in true&brave way?
Psst... I've heard somebody made some weird&funny sound for arx? where can me find it?

It took me several tries to make this jump until I figured out the trick.
Just like in other FPS games, you can maximize your horizontal distance by jumping right before you go over the edge of the platform. In Arx Fatalis this is considerable easier because you can see your feet.
Point yourself towards the ledge you're trying to jump to, but then look down and do a blind jump, watching your feet instead of where you're trying to jump. Jump right before your feet go over the edge and you'll make this jump every time. ;)
