and it's the full version, if you happen to have a keygen at hand
*cough*
but the plugin architecture changed some at max5->6
so the plugins will probably either not work or not work properly and cause instability

A few slight annoyances for people converting.
The max stuff doesnt work with 3dstudio 7 (it looks like if it had done then gmax coulda used them as they both suffer the same error if you try the plugins).
Also I tried converting a 6mb t3d file ( having worked out that 7mb is the max a map can be) on import and build all the 6mb map becomes 23mb  I dont understand it- any ideas? after all the brush work should stay the same size on import :erg:

I once more suggest the disclaimer method. It's worked well enough for rom hosting, so why wouldn't it keep the heat off the host's back in this case, if they make it explicitly clear that one can't download a mission conversion without owning the game it came from?
The "disclaimer" is a legally worthless attempt to cover their asses. Just like those MP3 sites that said "you must only download these files if you own the original CD", and got shut down just the same.
The reason that companies don't go after ROM emulators is that the games are old, primitive and have little or no market value to justify the legal fees.

Quick newspost - I've got the Thieves Guild.t3d posted earlier on this thread to import and compile BSP and Flesh BSP in T3Ed (though I turned off compiling the NavMesh and Spatial Database). Even without the extra goodies it takes a long time to compile, and looked kinda like it might have frozen up, but hadn't.
It's 2581 brushes, once I deleted the green water brushes just in case, and haven't tried running it in game yet because there's no ZonePortals at all, so the game would be trying to render the whole map at once.
Maybe that's why it keeps crashing on other people's systems.
I'll edit or post again if I can portal it down enough to run (or if I fail, so that people can know that's not the problem here)

is this thread stil alive ???

The last post was almost a year ago, so I'm guessing probably not.

By definition a thread is alive if people keep posting in it. Since there are people posting in it, it must be alive. :)

Have you read through the entire thread? The project wasn't exactly feasible. Many missions would have to be completely redesigned due to the lack of water, and would also need to be completely stripped down to the most basic brushwork and rebuilt.
