How to extract Deus Ex sound effects?.

I was told it was encrypted and cant be done with winrar, is this true?, if so how could I extract them?.

They're not encrypted, they just don't use a standard format.
You can open the UAX files with (http://www.softpedia.com/get/Programming/File-Editors/Dragon-UnPACKer.shtml) Dragon Unpacker.
