Hi
I added to a door the function, to give a textmessage (via FrobInfo/Booktext).
How can I switch off this function ? After I touched another object, the mentioned
door should no longer print the message.

Depends on the setup.
A link can be removed in a conversation (pseudo script), also a metaproperty.

It's all Greek to me atm ;-)
I am working since 2015 on my mission. But the problem is, I have rare time
and there are months between my work at the mission. So I am still a sort of newbie.
I hope, to continue that next week.
What I want:
If Garrett try to open a certain door, he should get a textmessage
(Sort of "The key is inside the building, find another way in").
If Garrett then found the way in, he should no longer get that message.
Through your hints I will try to work with: AI->Utility->Watch: Watch link defaults
Am I right with this idea ?

I don't know the setup. Just delete the trigger (a marker, switch?) to whatever is showing the message.
trigger-->traptimed relay-->destroy trap-->marker/switch

atm I have the whole functionality in the door: FrobInfo/Book-Text.
For future interests I want to know, how to remove or deactivate such things from
an object, without to have to destroy it.
Or does this works only for certain things ?
My setup: DromEd Final 1.23
And NVScript124

Remove the book property from the door. Use the door as a trigger and create a marker to trigger the text. Door--cd--marker. Destroy the marker after showing the text.

This topic is pretty new for me.
I tried several things (Scripts) but I am not able, to make
the marker to print out the text.
What I tried:
Marker:
Book/Text
Script: StdBook
ControlDevice (automatically added by adding an Controldevice to the door)
Door:
FrobInfo
ControlDevice linked to the Marker.
I tried then several Scripts in both (door and marker) like
StdButton etc. ;-)
Because I hoped, the StdButton-Script would send the needed signal
As I suppose, the door sends a signal via ControlDevice to the marker.
And I thought, the StdBook-Script will react to the ControlDevice.
Can someone please explain, what I am doing wrong ?

Load NVScript and add NVOnscreenText script on the marker. Add the book string.

NVOnscreenText works in the door, if I use FrobInfo. So NVOnscreenText generally works here.
But in the linked marker nothing happens.
It seems, it does not receive a trigger-message by the ControlDevice.
To be clear: If I touch the door, it should send a trigger to the marker via ControlDevice.
And this doesn't work here.
