Mercantile levels extremely slowly for me, so I've never been naturally at 75 or more in that skill yet.
However, I know from UESP, that you can "invest" gold in a store when you are at or above 75 mercantile. I've also read that you can do that even if you've only fortified your mercantile to this level by means of some spell.
So, I've made me a "fortify mercantile, 80, 4 secs, self" spell.
Under the effect of this spell, my mercantile is well above 100 now. So, according to UESP, I should be able to invest my money into the stores.
However, I see no option to invest money in the shop's interface or dialogue options with the shopkeeper. I also have no idea where to look, really. It might of course be that one of the mods (for instance, the unofficial patch) removed the "skill perk while fortified"-option for mercantile. :erg:
Can someone please help me and tell me where I would have to look?
edit: I just triple-checked the bugfixes of the unofficial patch. Indeed, it considered the "skill perk while fortified"-option as one of the bugs that it squashed.
Well, but my question remains. How do I actually invest into a store? Will there be some button "invest your gold into this store"?

Yes, I think there will be (didn't take my Mercantile skill up that high, but I think I recall from the manual that there will be an extra button added).

Thanks. :)
If only selling 1 item out of that stack of more than 3 would be easier, isn't it. Or even better, if mercantile would gain 100"xp" for a stack of 100 items instead of 1"xp" for selling the whole stack at once.
