Nursery.

I used to own a very large rare plant nursery (couple thousand varieties) as my day-job; until the end of 2002, when we could no longer ride out the shitty economy left in the wake of 9-11 and the encroaching box-stores that have basically killed the rare plant market.

Now that my "gotta-do-this-to-survive-since-we-have-kids-to-feed-and-writing-doesn't-pay-for-shit" temporary job has ended (yeah, Michigan) I'm back to running a much, much smaller nursery to help make ends meet.

Isn't it about time Canada violently takes us over so we can have a currency worth a damn; not to mention health care, the hopeful ends to Bill O'Reilly's and Reverend Al's careers, and all the Silly Weed we can smoke?

Look, I'll tell you a story, all right? I once feel deeply, you know, profoundly in love with tropical fish. Had 60 goddamn fish tanks in my house. I skin dived to find just the right ones. Anisotremus virginicus, Holdacanthus ciliaris, Chaetodon capistratus. You name it. Then one day I say, "fuck fish". I renounce fish. I vow never to set foot in that ocean again. That's how much "fuck fish".
